Crooks- Crooks is an old black man with a bad back. He is called Crooks because he was kicked by a horse and he now has a crooked back. Crooks is the stable buck. Crooks is separated from everybody else because he is black.
Lennie- Lennie is one of the main characters in the book of mice and men. Lennie is a larger guy, he suffers from a mental disability. He often does not know his own strength. Lennie often dreams of owning a ranch with George and being able to take care of the rabbits.
Curley's Wife- Curley's wife is only referred to her husband. The other workers refer to as a "looloo," a "tart" and a "tramp." She often flirts with the other workers.
Candy- candy is an older man who has worked on the farm for awhile. Candy has only one hand because of the result that he got his hand injured in a accident. Candy fears that he will not work much longer because the boss while soon let him go. Candy over hears George and Lennie's dream plans about buying a farm candy in returns asks "if he can join them for he will offer his whole life savings.
